The gallery owned by Pheobe Wantz, will show the work of local artists as well as artists from around the globe. The grand opening will feature the works of the gallery Artistic Director and Curator, Michael DuQuette; a collection of selected pieces from Tanglevine Crossing; Ann Johnson, former owner of F.B. Fogg, clothing and gift items; Rosemary Gard, of Chicago, vintage jewelry creations, and much more. Hye-Sook Jee is the artist in residence. In December Gallery 308 will bring to the gallery an amalgamation of expression. In the main Gallery Ball Sate Senior Students will exhibit featuring: the painting of Neal Soley; Drawings and prints by Andrew McCauley; Prints and paintings by Terry Flores; Sculpture and metalwork by Rachael Jobst; and, the designs of John Carroll. The Founders Gallery will feature Twila Beahm and Jessie Creselious. Each of Twila Beahm’s Faerie Houses is one of a kind and hand crafted of natural materials and found Objects. Jessie Creselious will present his recent work of polymer clay Faerie sculptures. His colorful and unique sculptures range in size from 2.5 inches to 7 inches tall.Dec 10, 2009
