The Big Band group from America's Hometown Band features guest artist Ralph Pressler and his Bass Trombone talents at this Spirit of the Trombone jazz concert. Pressler is a BSU alumnus and professional musician based in Las Vegas. He has enjoyed a long and colorful career in show bands accompanying the biggest names in show biz entertainment - such as Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra, Wayne Newton, Siegfried & Roy and many others.

Friday, Nov.11, 2016, the City of Muncie's annual Veterans Day dinner and military honor program takes place at Muncie Central High School. The dinner starts at 5:30 pm and is free for veterans; available to others for a freewill donation with all proceeds going to veterans organizations.
Honor Program starts at 7 pm, with a local color guard and speakers from local veterans service groups, plus remarks by Mayor Dennis Tyler. Music by America's Hometown Band, and including MCHS & BSU students.

Free Anniversary Concert at Emens Auditorium by America's Hometown Band
Muncie area families are invited to get out and enjoy a FREE celebration concert of the band's 29th anniversary. This lively musical outing ranges from an energetic full-band arrangement of Scarborough Fair - to an amazing xylophone duet called Xylophonia featuring two local area High School Music Directors - to the timeless appeal of Gershwin tunes from the American opera Porgy & Bess.
AND -starting at 3 pm, there are free refreshments in AC Rm.114 (first door on the right just inside the Emens east entrance).

This annual celebration at Vera Mae’s Bistro, 209 S. Walnut St., in downtown Muncie, occurs on Friday evening, March 17, 2017.
For the dinner hours from 6:30 to 8 pm -- a roster of small ensembles of AHB performers recreate favorite melodies and memories from the Emerald Isle. Flutes, clarinets, trombones, a jazz combo, and a Little Green Band are set to entertain diners.

Memorial Day Program Honors U.S. Military
AMERICA'S HOMETOWN BAND HELPS SALUTE VETERANS AT BEECH GROVE CEMETERY PROGRAM
The free annual Memorial Day remembrance and honor program for Muncie and Delaware County military personnel takes place in the Military Section of Beech Grove Cemetery, 1400 W. Kilgore Ave., Muncie on Monday, May 29, 11 am. The AHB band performs a patriotic musical prelude starting at 10:45 am, as well as a musical salute to each branch of the service during the program. A stirring AHB rendition of Taps closes the ceremonies.
The Memorial Day program is coordinated by Beech Grove Cemetery officials and features speakers from the City of Muncie and the Delaware County Veterans organization. A color guard presentation and rifle salute are scheduled, plus a special acknowledgment of local veterans who have died since last year’s gathering.

FREE Public Concert Evening presented for the fun of it to the whole Delaware County community (including anyone else from anywhere!). Gather friends, family, and lawn chairs to enjoy this musical evening with the music-makers of Muncie’s very own America's Hometown Band.
Enjoy a mixed program of favorite gold pop tunes, top-notch solo performers, and a nod to the military with a march or two. Parking is free after 7pm in the BSU lots and parking structures nearby the quad area.
In case of rain, the concert moves indoors to Prius Hall, located just south of the BSU library.
