  • Cornerstone Dance Company Auditions 4:30pm to 7:00pm @ Cornerstone Center for the Arts 520 E. Main St. Muncie

    The Cornerstone Center for the Arts Dance Company is holding open auditions for the Competition and Performance groups on Thursday, August 26th.

    If you enjoy dancing and would like to get more involved in either the competitive or performance side of dance, consider joining the Cornerstone Dance Company. There will be a Competition group and a Performance group with ages ranging from 5-21 years old.

    The auditions are free and op...en to the public.

    Competition Group:
    Dancers in the competition group will compete in various competitions and perform at local events. This group will focus on technique development and competitive dance routines. Competition and costume fees will be included in the monthly class fees. The competition group will be divided into two groups based on age and will meet from September through May.

    Early Company (Ages 5-8)
    Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, & Ballet Training
    9 monthly payments of $95
    Fee includes tuition, all costumes, and all competition fees for two dances at three competitions in the Indianapolis regional competitions during the months of March through May.

    Youth Company (Ages 9-18)
    Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Ballet, Contemporary, Floor Barre, & Progressions Training
    9 monthly payments of $180
    Fee includes tuition, all three costumes, and all competition fees for three dances at three competitions in the Indianapolis regional competitions.

    Performance Group:
    The performance group will perform for various community events including festivals, fairs, and more. This group will focus on technique development and performance choreography without a competitive focus. All fees are included in the monthly class fee so no additional fees will be added throughout the year unless a student chooses to participate in a private session such as a solo, duet, or trio. The Performance Group is also separated into two groups.

    Early Company (Ages 5-8)
    Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, & Ballet Training
    9 monthly payments of $50

    Youth & Young Adult Company (Ages 9-21)
    Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Ballet, Contemporary, Floor Barre, & Progressions Training
