The Farmers Market at Minnetrista has been deemed an essential service that provides fresh and healthy food to our community. Fresh foods and beverages will be served in addition to produce, plants, and other products. We will be open for business, with a modified model. The market will take place in the main parking lot, with vendors spaced out appropriately. Parking is located at the Delaware County Fairgrounds. There will be a single entrance and exit, and the number of visitors allowed into the market at any one time will be controlled to accommodate space limitations. Wagons that are available will be wiped down between uses. Vendors will be provided masks and gloves and hand sanitizer stations will be available to patrons.

Come listen to artist Joel Fremion discuss his work as a Fiber Artist. He is also this year’s Juror for the 32nd Minnetrista Annual Juried Art Show. Fiber art has a long and rich tradition but is rarely discussed. As an artist incorporating 2-D and 3-D components in his work, Fremion will lend a unique perspective to this year’s Juried Art Show.

Join Deedee Davis, Digital Scholarship Services Specialist, as she shares about the home’s architect, Louis Gibson. Enjoy tea and hors d’oeuvres while discovering how sketches and drawings became a home full of traditions, literature, and family.

Join the Minnetrista Horticulture team for a special volunteer day to help maintain our beautiful gardens! Volunteers will have the opportunity to learn and grow in their knowledge of garden cultivation alongside helpful professionals. Whether cleaning and preparing the soil for future seeds or digging and planting, there’s always plenty of work to be done!

Who’s ready for an adventure? Bring your family and friends for a day full of adventures together at Minnetrista! This free community event is open to the whole family. With so much being offered, the day is a choose-your-own-adventure opportunity. The various activities create space for learning, active family participation, and fun! Spend a beautiful spring day at Minnetrista, exploring with friends and family.

To help us manage capacity for social distancing, there will be three two-hour sessions, and we ask that you please pre-register. Masks are required inside and encouraged outside where social distancing is impossible. The hour in between each session will be used to sanitize areas and activity materials to ensure the safety of our patrons and staff
